“Bekkaku”(別鶴) is a sake series created by younger employees from HAKUTSURU Sake Brewery, in the purpose to raise younger people’s interests in drinking sake. The theme is “a peek into the new world of sake”. Not only the product naming, the design is also just as exquisite and consistent with the brand’s concept.
There are three different bottles of sake under this series, including the green “木漏れ日のムシメガネ” (Magnifying glass of sunshine filtering through the leaves). For those of you who know or have learnt Japanese may know that “木漏れ日” is a word many translators struggle to translate in order not to lose the poeticness of the word itself! There is also the yellow “陽だまりのシュノーケル” (snorkel under the sun) and the purple “黄昏のテレスコープ” (telescope at dusk). All three sake feels perfect for summer.
There is a small window left on the label to let you “take a peek” into the scenery of the sake’s concept, a very aesthetically pleasing series of sake!
