This small sake bar named Kurayoshi (蔵よし有楽町店) at Yurakucho, Tokyo is opening a weekend-only “Kura cafe”, serving different flavors of Amazake Mocktails to your liking!
“Amazake” is widely known as a beauty elixir in Japan. There are two types of amazake, the “koji amazake” and “sake lees amazake”. Sake lees are fermented from koji, hence having a “double fermented power” with a higher concentration of proteins, carbs, vitamins, dietary fibers, amino acids, and more. Sake lees amazake, with a rich taste and soft aroma, is a great health and beauty drink.
The sake lees used in these Amazake Mocktails are all from “Okami no omotenashi” brewed by Hokusetsu Brewery and served with three different flavors including Amazake milk, amazake soda, and amazake lassi. Customers can also choose from coffee, matcha, Calpico, mango, etc. as the base for the mocktail.

You can even add an extra “shot” of amazake when ordering, don’t miss this special drink if you are around Tokyo!
