Just before the limit of public gathering was imposed again, I had the chance to visit this Modern Chinese restaurant “SHÈ” at IFC, central and had a tranquil while photogenic afternoon tea.
The bill was around 400 with a 10% charge, it is quite worth it considering it is in Central, Hong Kong.
Afternoon tea for two people, savory and sweet dim sums are all here.

The food quality is , just as expected, exceptional. But just “deliciousness” is not enough to sustain in such district. It is obvious that SHÈ had put a lot of time and effort in designing their menu. Just like the pastry that is made into the shape of a handbag, and the gold fish dumpling in a pond of soup. It is all about presentation!
The afternoon tea set also comes with a cup of floral tea. But as a #sakeholic, of course I am going to get a drink!

Although they no longer sell sake, I found this cocktail was made with Okinawa Gin (!!) so I ordered that without hesitation. The base of the cocktail used this Okinawa Gin by Masahiro Brewery. This is actually the first Gin from Okinawa!

The restaurant SHÈ has a really beautiful and tranquil ambience. It does feel a bit crowded given that they have to put enough seats to keep the restaurant running. They also have a huge terrace overlooking the Victoria Harbour and all the staff are really nice. I will personally recommend someone to come at lunch time/afternoon time given all these cute and photogenic dim sums!
