We are THRILLED to announce the launch of our very first original sake brand “GYOKUSO”(玉箒)!
“玉箒” actually means “sake” in ancient Japanese. The old saying goes “Sake is the jade broom for your sorrows”, in which “玉” means jade and “箒” means broom. Ancestors believe sake has the power to “sweep” your sorrow and fear. GYOKUSO hopes, even in these trying times, you can have the best experience and time no matter you are enjoying sake with your families and friends or on your own. That’s why it is also our mission to bring you all these hidden gems scattered throughout islands of Japan.
The first bottle of sake we bring to your is called “Gi” (岐). It is centered around the geological centre of Japan – Gifu prefecture. It was brewed with the “King of Sake Rice” Hyogo-grown Yamada Nishiki and the rice-polishing ratio is 19%! The elegant and complex taste goes well with every types of cuisine! xx
