If you want to try yakitori in Hong Kong, you can’t go wrong with “Bon”, the yakitori specialty restaurant! Inside the restaurant, the interior gives a calm atmosphere. A Japanese staff will prepare your meal with maximum care. Without a doubt, the taste is impeccable and tastes authentic.
What’s even better is the restaurant also have a wide selection of around 20 kinds of sake. Yakitori goes well with sake, needless to say. On top of the selection, there is a super attractive menu where you can taste and compare two sake from the chef’s selection of the day. During my visit this time, I got the “Chikusen Junmai Ginjo Yamada Nishiki”, which is known for its delicious uma-mi and well-balanced sourness. The second sake I tried was “Dassai Junmai Daiginjo 45” which has a delicate sweetness and gorgeous scent. It’s a really great experience to enjoy two sake of completely different tastes, flavors and scents at the same time.
The menu varies depending on the day, so be sure to try the delicious yakitori paired with sake!
